ORTHOPEDIC ISSUES IN ADOLESCENTS: ANALYSIS, CAUSES, AND SOLUTIONS

Abstract

This article explores the prevalence of orthopedic problems, including scoliosis, flat feet, leg asymmetry, and chest deformities, among 15–17-year-old adolescents, their causes, and preventive solutions. The study was conducted with the participation of 4,019 students from schools in Tashkent city. The results demonstrated that orthopedic problems were significantly more common in adolescents with low physical activity, excessive use of computers and smartphones, and those with genetic predispositions. The article analyzes the factors contributing to the widespread nature of these problems and presents recommendations for addressing them.
