PREVALENCE AND PREVENTIVE MEASURES OF VISUAL IMPAIRMENTS AMONG SCHOOLCHILDREN IN TASHKENT CITY

Abstract
This study analyzes the prevalence of visual impairments among schoolchildren in Tashkent City. The findings indicate a widespread occurrence of conditions such as myopia, hypermetropia, and astigmatism. The article discusses preventive methods and necessary measures to improve children's visual health. Visual impairments are one of the major health issues among schoolchildren. The research involved 4,019 students from schools in the Mirobod and Shaykhontohur districts of Tashkent. The results reveal a high prevalence of visual impairments, highlighting the urgent need to strengthen preventive measures.
