THE SOCIAL AND PSYCHOLOGICAL IMPACT OF VISION IMPAIRMENTS: RESEARCH FINDINGS

Abstract

This study analyzes the social and psychological impact of vision impairments among schoolchildren. Research conducted in the Mirobod and Shaykhontohur districts of Tashkent shows that vision disorders negatively affect the educational process and students’ social activity. Based on the findings, the article provides suggestions for preventive measures.
