INITIAL SOURCES FOR BREEDING OF PINK-COLORED TOMATO VARIETIES AND HYBRIDS

Abstract

This article presents the results of research conducted to create initial sources for the breeding of pink-colored tomato varieties and hybrids in the southern regions of Uzbekistan. Promising varieties have been identified based on vegetation period, plant height, fruit weight, fruit height, fruit width, fruit index, tendency to cracking, biochemical composition of the fruit, and yield. These varieties are recommended as initial sources for breeding purposes.
